The Holy Quran
1 01 2008
All praise is due to Allah
, we praise Him, we seek refuge in Him, we repent to Him, and we ask Him for guidance. And we seek refuge in Allah
from our sins in affairs, and our evilest of deeds. Whomsoever Allah
guides - there is no misguidance for him, and whomsoever Allah
misguides - there is no guidance for him. And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah
and that Muhammad (saw) is His last and final messenger. He spread the message of Islam, the religion of truth, peace and blessings of Allah
be upon him.
Allah
has set for us a path to follow, and the Prophet (SAW) said: “I leave for you two things, that if you follow, you will not go astray: the Quran, and my Sunnah.”The Quran is the manual of life. It is composed of the words of Allah
. The difference between the Quran and the Sunnah is that the Quran is literally from Allah
, revealed through Jibreel (as), and the Sunnah is divinely inspired. The Prophet (SAW) did not do as he wished and spoke anything.
In the Quran, Allah
says:
“Your companion does not err, nor does he go astray;
Nor does he speak out of desire.
It is naught but revelation that is revealed
(Quran 53:2-4)
This is the straight path to your Lord. We have explained the revelations for people who take heed.(Quran 6:126)
We must not abandon the Quran. Many Muslims are forgetting that these are literally the Words of Allah
and that we are responsible for memorizing, practicing, and spreading these beautiful words to those who are misguided. Know, however, that whomever Allah
decides to let go astray, there is no guidance for him. And whomsoever Allah
decides to guide, there is no misguider for him.
May Allah
guide us all to this straight path and keep us firm on it till the Day we return to Him.
