Rabbana Zidna ‘Ilma!!

Asalaamu Alaaikum wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatu

Inna Lillahi wa inna ‘ilayhi raji’oon. Indeed, From Allah we come, and it is to Him we shall return.

We are saddened to write that two Scholars have passed away, in only the timespan of one week. SubhanAllah.

‘Abd-Allâh ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas said: “I heard the Messenger of Allâh (peace and blessings of Allâh be upon him) say, ‘Allâh does not take knowledge away by taking it away from people’s (hearts); He takes knowledge away by taking away the scholars (i.e., when scholars die), and when there is not one scholar left, the people will turn to ignorant leaders who, when they are consulted, will give fatwas without knowledge. They are misguided and they misguide others.’” (Reported by al-Bukhaari, 98).

Shaykh Bakr Abu Zayd passed away on Tuesday in Riyadh

Dr. Saleh as-Saleh,passed away on Friday in Masjid an-Nabi in Medinah.

 May Allah swt forgive both of their sins, May Allah swt lighten their graves and encompass them with His Mercy!! ameen! May Allah make their final destination Jannatul Firdaus with the Anbiya, Malaika and the Siddiqeen. Ameen ya Rabb!

May Allah swt give us more scholars in their place, ameen
